The 2016 winners of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers competition were announced in a special magazine published in the Globe and Mail today, and we’re proud to be on the list for the fourth time.
The competition recognizes Canada’s leaders in creating inclusive workplaces for employees from these five groups:
- LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans peoples)
- Persons with Disabilities
- Aboriginal Peoples
- Visible Minorities
We believe that by fostering an inclusive environment for all employees, we’ll break down attitudes and stereotypes and fully leverage the unique talents and experiences of our diverse workforce. What does that mean for you? It means that as an organization that values the experiences and perspectives of all our employees, we’re able to better identify with your needs.
We’ve engaged passionate leaders from across our company to be part of a new Inclusion & Diversity Council. The council is hard at work to increase our representation of these groups, and create a safe environment where all employees can reach their full potential.
