Mr. Horn has served as Chairman of the Board of the Company and President and Chief Executive Officer of Rogers Telecommunications Limited and certain private companies which control the Company since March 2006.

Mr. Horn was Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of the Company from September 1996 to March 2006 and he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Rogers Telecommunications Limited from 1990 to 1996. Mr. Horn was Acting President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company from October 2008 to March 2009.

Mr. Horn was appointed a director of Rogers Bank on April 24, 2013. He is also a director of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited, Fairfax India Holdings Corporation and CCL Industries Inc. Mr. Horn is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Rogers Control Trust. Mr. Horn is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant. Mr. Horn received a B.Sc. with First Class Honours in Mathematics from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.

Chief Technology Officer

As Chief Technology Officer for Rogers, Bob is responsible for the architecture, planning, design, implementation, and operations of the Rogers wireless and wireline networks.

Bob, a professional engineer with 35 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry, graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Engineering specializing in Operational Research and Management Science. After first joining Cantel (later known as Rogers) in 1985 he helped launch and operate the company’s wireless network, building the foundation for what would become the Rogers network we know today.

Over the years, Bob held senior positions in numerous areas of the company before taking on the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Rogers Wireless in 1996 where he was responsible the company’s national wireless network. In 2005 Bob added Rogers wireline network to his portfolio, becoming the Chief Technology Officer for Rogers Communications.

During Bob’s leadership, Rogers was the first Canadian carrier to deploy UMTS/HSPA in 2006, LTE in 2011 and LTE-Advanced, the latest evolution of wireless network technology, in 2014.

Chief Brand Officer

Dale was named Chief Brand Officer in June 2014 and oversees the team responsible for Brand, Advertising and Sponsorship with a key focus on repositioning Rogers brands around the customer.

Dale jumpstarted his role as CBO with some of the company’s largest integrated marketing campaigns to date, including the launch of NHL at Rogers and Sportsnet, unveiling Rogers NHL GameCentre LIVE and Rogers Hometown Hockey, and introducing the revolutionized U.S. roaming program Roam Like Home.

Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Marketing & Consumer Insights for the Rogers Media Division, leading brand strategy for a diverse portfolio of assets and establishing the company as one of the leaders in the Canadian media landscape.

Before joining Rogers, Dale was Vice President of Marketing & Insights at PepsiCo Beverages Canada, where he was responsible for a diverse mix of marketing programs and campaigns that have since been adapted in countries around the world. With over 20 years of marketing experience, Dale has become one of Canada’s most influential marketers, and has been honoured with a number of awards, including a Cannes Advertising Gold Lion in 2010.

Chief Legal Officer & Secretary

As Chief Legal Officer & Secretary, David is responsible for providing expert legal advice, ombudsman and corporate support to the company.

David is an accomplished leader and strategic advisor with expertise in mergers and acquisitions and wide variety of commercial agreements. He has a special interest in how options can benefit the company. David’s real passion however is contributing to any initiatives that will improve service for our customers! He has more than three decades of legal experience in the telecommunications and media industries.

In 1987, David joined Rogers as its first ever Vice President and General Counsel. Since then, he served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Rogers Wireless Communications and Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. Prior to joining Rogers, David spent more than two years in private practice and also served as General Counsel for Lavalin Inc., one of the world’s largest international engineering and construction companies.

David holds a Bachelor of Commerce and both Civil and Common Law degrees from McGill University. He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1978. In 2009, David received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Canadian General Counsel Association. He also sits on the Board of Directors of CI Financial Corp., and the Advisory Board of Atlantic Packaging Limited.

Chief Customer Officer

Deepak Khandelwal joined Rogers as Chief Customer Officer on November 10, 2014. He is responsible for all customer experience functions including service strategy, customer call centres, field operations, go-to-market and online customer channels.

An engineer by trade, Deepak is a disciplined, process-oriented problem solver who brings a deep passion for technology and delivering a great customer experience. He is also an exceptional manager of people and has earned a solid reputation for his ‘customer first’ approach.

Deepak joined Rogers from Google Inc. where he was VP, Global Customer Experience with customers in over 100 countries worldwide. Under his leadership from 2010 to 2014, he transformed Google’s customer experience resulting in a 100 percent improvement in their customer satisfaction scores. Before Google, Deepak worked at McKinsey & Company for 16 years where he co-founded their global customer care practice and worked with over 200 customer care centres to address service strategy and process improvements.

Deepak has a Masters of Business Administration from Ivey Business School (Western University) and received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. He started his career at IBM in 1989.

President, Consumer Business Unit

Dirk Woessner joined Rogers as President of the Consumer Business Unit on April 6, 2015. He is responsible for the company’s Consumer business including strategy, product development, sales channel operations, pricing and customer base management.

Dirk comes from Deutsche Telekom (DT) where he was responsible for sales and distribution in Germany with sales of over CDN $25 billion. He joined DT in 2002 holding a number of senior leadership positions with Telekom Deutschland and T-Mobile in the UK and Germany. He previously worked at McKinsey & Company in Munich and Madrid from 1997 to 2002 providing consulting services to Europe’s leading telecommunications companies.

As a seasoned telecom executive, he has led large scale operations in both the wireless and wireline businesses. Dirk is skilled at defining and implementing strategies and meeting financial business targets. He has demonstrated the ability to create and manage an integrated channel strategy and coordinated go-to-market approach in a complex, multichannel consumer business. Dirk is extremely focused on driving execution and results. He is very passionate about winning in the market. He is fluent in both German and Spanish. He holds a doctorate in Chemistry from the Humboldt University of Berlin.

Chief Strategy Officer

As Rogers Chief Strategy Officer, Frank Boulben is responsible for corporate strategy, new business development, innovation, wholesale operations, partnerships and financial services.

Frank has over 20 years of wireless and Internet experience in senior executive positions with leading companies in Europe (Vodafone, Orange, Vivendi Universal) and North America (BlackBerry).

He moved to North America four years ago as EVP Strategy, Marketing and Development for LightSquared, where he negotiated a ground breaking agreement with Sprint and most recently served as CMO of BlackBerry, where he oversaw the launch of BB10 and BBM cross platform.

Frank brings a customer centric mindset and value driven approach to the table. During his time at Vodafone and Orange, he introduced innovative pricing strategies and segmented marketing initiatives.

Frank is a well-known figure in the global wireless marketplace, having served as Board Member and Chairman of the Strategy Committee of the GSMA from 2004 to 2006.

Chief Corporate Affairs Officer

As Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Jacob is responsible for leading Rogers’ integrated Corporate Affairs team including regulatory affairs, public policy, government relations, internal and external communications, and social media.

Jacob joined Rogers from Google Inc., where he held a number of leadership positions including Head of the global Central Public Policy and Government Relations team. During his time at Google, Jacob established and led Google Canada’s Public Policy and Government Relations team.

Jacob has also served as General Counsel, Director of Policy Development and Corporate Secretary, Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) and as a litigator with McCarthy Tétrault.

Chief Information Officer

Jamie Williams was appointed Chief Information Officer on May 4, 2015 after first joining Rogers in 2014 as Senior Vice President of Consumer IT and Billing. Jamie is accountable for all aspects of IT delivery, including development and production operations. He reports to Interim President & CEO, Alan Horn, and plays a key role on the Rogers Executive Leadership Team.

Jamie joined Rogers after 16 years with Sprint and Nextel in the U.S. where he held many varied roles in IT including VP of App Development and Operations. He was responsible for leading Sprint’s IT functions in the areas of Middleware, Testing, Billing Mediation, Provisioning, Big Data and Analytics.

Jamie is a visionary leader with 20 years of experience solving challenging business problems with technology. He is an innovator with a proven ability to build and transform large, complex organizations in IT and the business. He has a Master’s of Science in Information Systems Technology from George Washington University in Washington, DC and received his Bachelor of Science in Physics from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.

Chief Human Resources Officer

Jim Reid has served as Rogers Chief Human Resources Officer since 2011. He is responsible for shaping the talent, culture and engagement strategy at Rogers.

With a keen understanding of what it takes to win, Jim has elevated the employee experience agenda by strengthening key programs in the areas of leadership development, frontline training, talent management, and culture. Over the next three years, Jim will lead Rogers’ workplace transformation initiative, enabling the company to become more collaborative, agile and flexible.

During his tenure, Rogers has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Employers in Canada, a Top Employer for Young People, and one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers.

Jim has more than 20 years of experience leading large, global human resources teams, including Husky Injection Molding Systems and the global health sciences company, MDS Inc. He is a former tactical helicopter pilot in the Canadian Armed Forces and served more than three years in West Germany. Jim holds an MBA from McMaster University and is a graduate of Harvard’s Advanced Management Program.

President, Enterprise Business Unit

As President of the Enterprise Business Unit at Rogers, Nitin Kawale is responsible for delivering end-to-end business solutions that will better serve Small, Medium and Large and Public Sector businesses across Canada. He brings over 30 years of domestic and international experience in the technology sector to Rogers.

Prior to joining Rogers in December 2014, Nitin was the President of Cisco Systems Canada Co where he led the organization to double in size, becoming the third largest revenue producing country for Cisco globally. At Cisco, he also worked with Rogers to deliver next generation technology and solutions to Canadian businesses of all sizes.

Nitin has been recognized as an expert across Canada on the topics of innovation and productivity and champions both in his professional and personal life. In April 2014, he was named a Champion of Public Education across Canada by The Learning Partnership and in June 2011, he was honoured as the Corporate Executive of the Year by the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce – a national award that recognizes exemplary achievement in business by those of Indian heritage. He is also a Chair of the Conference Board of Canada.

Nitin holds a bachelor of applied sciences degree in engineering science from the University of Toronto.

President, Media Business Unit

As President of the Media Business Unit at Rogers, Rick Brace is responsible for driving strategy and overseeing operations for the company’s robust portfolio of media assets, which includes 42 TV stations, 51 radio stations, 56 publications, digital media, subscription-based content services, the Toronto Blue Jays, and Rogers Centre.

Rick is an accomplished business leader and innovative pioneer with more than 40 years of experience in the media industry. He has a strong reputation for building brands, changing perceptions, and attracting and mentoring top talent.

Prior to joining Rogers, Rick was with Bell Media/CTVglobemedia for 13 years in senior leadership roles of increasing responsibility, including President of CTV and President of Specialty TV. Rick also played a founding role at TSN, joining the network in 1984 as Deputy Head of Sports and eventually becoming President of the network in 1998 through 2000.

He began his career in 1975 at the CBC, working as a technician followed by roles in TV production. He stayed with the public network until 1984.

Rick graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio & Television. He resides in Toronto with his family and devotes time to numerous charitable organizations, including his role as Chair of the Advisory Council for the Rick Hansen Foundation and as a Trustee of the Canadian Wildlife Foundation. Rick also serves on the President’s Council of Ryerson University.

Chief Financial Officer

As the Chief Financial Officer, Tony is responsible for the overall finance function of Rogers.

Since joining the company in April 2012, Tony has focused on driving share value growth and, in particular, the operational execution of the company from a financial perspective. He has implemented new financial and operational performance management systems, and embarked on a multi-year cost productivity program delivering consistent efficiency improvements. He has also led various corporate finance initiatives, including acquisitions and the improvement of the company’s balance sheet structure with new and innovative financing arrangements.

Tony is a highly regarded and seasoned executive bringing to the company expertise in all financial functions combined with operational management experience. Tony began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers and left the firm as a senior Partner in 1998 to join his client Celestica International, where he performed in various financial and operational roles as the company grew from a single plant to one of the world’s largest electronics manufacturers. He left Celestica in 2005 to join Bell Canada Enterprises where as Senior Vice President Finance he continued to focus on the operational finance aspects of the company.

Tony serves as a Board Director for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment and was appointed in 2016 to the Ryerson University Board of Governors. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business.
