We’re helping our business customers stay connected.

We know that this public-health issue is impacting how we work by changing the operations of offices, workplaces and businesses — including an increased need for “work from home” solutions. To help businesses stay connected, in collaboration with Microsoft, we are making Microsoft Teams and Office 365 collaboration solutions available for free for six months. These tools can help businesses implement affordable “work from home” technologies to stay productive and connected during this time. FAQ for Rogers for Business (COVID-19)

Rogers recognizes that this time of uncertainty is changing the operations of offices, workplaces and businesses. For many businesses this means an increased need to enable work from home solutions. In collaboration with Microsoft, to help businesses stay connected, we are making Microsoft Teams and Office 365 collaboration solutions available for free for six months.

With the Microsoft Teams and Office 365 Collaboration solutions, you’ll have access to Office 365 cloud storage and apps. This includes unlimited chat, built-in group and one-on-one audio or video calling, 10 GB of team file storage, and 2 GB of personal file storage per user. You also get real-time collaboration with the Office apps for web, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.

If your business already subscribes to Office365 from Rogers, you may already have access to Microsoft Teams or Skype for Business Online based on the plans you have subscribed to. The plans that include Teams can be found on https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/office-365-licensing.

Rogers is making things easier for its customers and is waiving long distance voice calling fees across Canada to help businesses stay connected during this uncertain time. Rogers will also waive Roam Like Home and pay-per-use roaming fees in all available destinations for small business customers that need to travel outside of Canada. These measures are in place from March 16 until April 30.

Small Businesses with 1-9 wireless lines on a single account are automatically included in these changes.

You can access your account by navigating to the Contact Us page located here. Then navigate to the top right and click on “My Business Account” to select the appropriate portal to manage your account.

Currently, there are no impacts to our operations and we continue to monitor our networks. We have multiple layers of redundancy built in to our networks and are ready to manage capacity quickly if we see greater consumer demand or usage patterns change significantly.
