Back by popular demand – Rogers once again gives you front row access to the High Park Cherry Blossoms – virtually!

Canadians from coast to coast to coast will once again be able to experience the beauty of the blossoming Sakura (cherry blossom) trees in Toronto’s High Park, thanks to free Internet services enabled by Fixed Wireless Access, donated by Rogers.

With the current Stay-at-Home order in place for Ontario residents, the City of Toronto will be closing access to areas of High Park with cherry blossom trees during their pre-bloom and peak bloom period.

To protect our healthcare system and wider community, the City of Toronto High Park cherry blossom festival is once again going virtual to help stop the spread of COVID-19. The 24 hour #BloomAtHome livestream sponsored by Rogers can be viewed at toronto.ca/cherryblossoms.

Lasting between four and 10 days, depending on weather, the delicate pink flowers are expected to bloom in mid to late April. For Canadians outside the City of Toronto, this is a great opportunity for you to get a front row seat to the blossoming Sakura trees from the comfort of your home – wherever that may be!
