Basketball fans receive surprise gift to sold-out Rogers Slam Dunk Day
MONCTON, NB, Oct. 5, 2011 /CNW/ – Basketball fans in the Moncton area
scored big today when Rogers Communications announced a two-year,
premier title sponsorship agreement with the Moncton Miracles of the
National Basketball League of Canada (NBL).
Rogers first play as the new title sponsor of the Miracles was to
provide Monctonians with 5,000 complimentary tickets to Rogers Slam Dunk Day. On October 24th, 2011 basketball fans will be courtside to witness all the excitement
as the Moncton Miracles take on the Summerside Storm in the first game
at Moncton Coliseum.

inaugural season and giving basketball fans the opportunity to
experience the entertainment of a live sold-out Miracles game,” said

commitment to Moncton by offering this gift to residents interested in
watching their newest sports team in action.”
The sponsorship agreement will enable Rogers to support the Miracles
community involvement at schools, basketball camps and store locations
in addition to game execution opportunities including Rogers
contesting, Rogers Zone and brand recognition, resulting in more excitement at home games for
fans and players of the NBL.

Coupons will be distributed for the Rogers Slam Dunk Day to minor league basketball players, the Boys and Girls Club and other
not for profit organizations in the Moncton Area, courtesy of Rogers to
be redeemed for tickets at the Moncton Coliseum. Basketball fans can
also pick up their complimentary coupons for tickets at any Rogers
location in Moncton and surrounding areas.

first ever regular season Moncton Miracles game,” said Gordon.
Rogers second play was to announce that Rogers TV has partnered with the
Moncton Miracles for their inaugural season and will bring fans live
and exclusive broadcasts of ten Miracles regular season home games from
the Moncton Coliseum.

ideal for Rogers TV. “We are very excited to be a part of the
inaugural season of the Moncton Miracles and welcome the newly formed
