Rogers Home Phone reaches millionth customer milestone


    Product is the fastest-growing in the history of Rogers

    TORONTO, Feb. 12 /CNW/ - Cable Communications Inc. today announced that
it recently added its millionth Rogers Home Phone customer.
    "Rogers Home Phone has seen record-breaking growth in just over
two-and-a-half years since launching the service," said Phil Hartling, VP of

    Ms. Sarah Tirkalas from London, Ontario is Rogers millionth customer and,
as a token of appreciation for her business, she will receive a pair of
courtside tickets to a Raptors game. During the game, Ms. Tirkalas will have a
chance to shoot for great prizes. She will also receive Rogers Home Phone
service at no charge for one year.
    "I already had my cable television, wireless, and internet services with
Rogers and the logical next step for me was to add Rogers Home Phone as well.
I signed up online and it was quite simple," said Ms. Tirkalas, from London,
Ontario. "It's also nice to know that Rogers celebrates its customers with
contests and other promotions like the one I will get to take part in."

Canada was acquired by Rogers Communications Inc. Rogers Home Phone is
available starting at $29.95 per month with one calling feature. Customers can
