Rogers Publishing acquires AMPQ Magazine

Acquisition positions Rogers as Canada's sole bilingual provider in key

it has acquired the assets of AMPQ Magazine in a transaction that closed Aug.
31, 2009. The assets of AMPQ, a leading French-language publication that
speaks to marketing and communications practitioners in Quebec, include the
print magazine (published 10 times annually), as well as the daily newsletter
(AMPQ Quotidien), its Internet site (ampq.com) and its annual directory, AMPQ
Repertoire. An industry leader, AMPQ magazine has 58,500 readers, while AMPQ
Quotidien has more than 15,000 opt-in email subscribers.

    Marketing is the number one marketing and advertising magazine produced
in English Canada. Along with the bi-weekly magazine, the brand has grown to
include Marketing Daily (a twice-daily e-mail newsletter); marketingmag.ca (a
website where industry professionals read about, discuss and debate issues of
importance); Custom Publishing; and a wide variety of Events and Awards
Programs.
    Marketing also recently launched a cyber bulletin that covers Quebec's
marketing, advertising and media industries, providing timely coverage and
