Sportsnet Goes Live from Parliament Hill

– Broadcasts from the capital begin with Scotiabank Wednesday Night Hockey –

TORONTO (December 12, 2017) Sportsnet heads into the capital this week as the hockey world prepares for the first outdoor game of the 2017-18 season, the Scotiabank NHL 100 Classic on Saturday, Dec. 16 between the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators. Sportsnet has all the lead-up covered, as the full roster of hosts, analysts and reporters will be on the ground in Ottawa, broadcasting live from Parliament Hill beginning Wednesday, Dec. 13.

Hockey Central kicks things off as Daren Millard and analysts Elliotte Friedman and Doug MacLean tee up a Scotiabank Wednesday Night Hockey doubleheader hosted on-site from Parliament Hill. Tim and Sid then arrive in the nation’s capital for live shows on-location Thursday and Friday.

The festivities culminate with Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday, headlined by the Scotiabank NHL 100 Classic outdoor showdown between the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators live from Lansdowne Park on Sportsnet and CBC. Through it all, Sportsnet Central will keep fans in the know with regular reports from Kyle Bukauskas during the course of the week.
