Stay close to what matters most; check email anytime, on the fly: Fido introduces Microsoft Windows Mobile-based devices, the Motorola Q9 and Samsung JACK


    TORONTO, Feb. 20 /CNW/ - Fido customers can now make sure they 'never
lose out on anything', with unlimited personal emails available with most
popular domains, 3G high-speed mobile browsing and the ability to view and
edit Word and Excel documents and view presentations on Windows Mobile 6
powered devices, the Motorola Q9 and Samsung JACK.
    Windows Mobile is a mobile platform that offers the convenience of
staying connected while on the go, while still delivering the familiar
experience and functionality of a desktop PC. Customers will be able to
create, view, edit and send Microsoft Office documents, plus send and receive
unlimited emails from up to 5 email accounts, including Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail
and other POP3/IMAP accounts.

    The Windows Mobile 6 devices currently include the Motorola Q9 and the
Samsung JACK.
    The Motorola Q9 retails for $275 on a three year contract plus Windows
Mobile option. The Samsung JACK retails for $225 for a three year contract
plus Windows Mobile option.
    Windows Mobile plans start at $15 for 2MB and unlimited emails to most
popular domains including Hotmail, Yahoo and Gmail. For a limited time,
customers who sign up for a Windows Mobile plan will also receive 3 months of
unlimited mobile browsing.
