Supporting Disaster Relief in Atlantic Canada and Keeping our Customers Connected

Our hearts go out to the people of Atlantic Canada who are experiencing the devastating impacts of Hurricane Fiona.
To support relief efforts on the ground, we are making a $50,000 donation to support the Canadian Red Cross’ disaster relief efforts in the region and are making it easy for Canadians to donate through their phones. Canadians can donate $5 by texting the word ROGERS to 20222 (EN) or 30333 (FR), or a donation of any amount by visiting the Hurricane Fiona in Canada Appeal. The Government of Canada is matching all donations made to the Canadian Red Cross for the next 30 days.
We are also proactively giving eligible customers in Atlantic Canada an extra 50 GB of mobile data to use between Sept. 24 – Sept. 28 and waiving fees for long-distance calls within Canada. Our teams are working hard to restore services as quickly as possible.
We are working closely with provincial hydro and EMOs to restore services for our customers. Critical services are up and we have teams of Rogers technicians travelling from Ontario and Quebec to support wireless and wireline restoration. Wireless towers are powered by hydro and default to battery back-up during an outage. We have deployed generators to cell sites to charge batteries until power is restored. With downed trees and power lines across the region, our crews will access cell sites and fibre lines once possible and safe to do so.

As power is restored across Atlantic Canada, all of our retail stores are open to support customers and provide opportunities for anyone needing to charge their devices. Current locations open as of Tuesday, September 27, 2022 after 10 a.m. local time include:
