Talk, Text, Tap and Save: Rogers credit cardholders get five free rides to experience 5G on the TTC
Rogers is bringing a more affordable, connected commute on the TTC for Rogers credit cardholders. Starting Wednesday November 1, 2023, TTC customers who tap any Rogers Bank credit card using a mobile wallet will get five free rides, until the end of 2023.
Rogers credit cardholders can tap their card using their mobile wallet for travel across the entire TTC network, including the subway, where Rogers is leading the rollout of 5G connectivity, now available at Toronto’s busiest stations. Rogers credit cardholders can receive a credit of $3.30 per ride from November 1 to December 31, 2023, up to a maximum of one credit per day and five credits total.
Rogers is working hard to modernize the TTC network and deliver more 5G to power the connected commute for all TTC riders. At the same time, Rogers is committed to bringing customers more affordable access to its products and services, and more value to Canadians everyday. One way Rogers is putting more money in customers’ pockets is with the Rogers red Mastercard®, Canada’s best cash back card with no annual fee.
With the Rogers Red Credit Card, Rogers customers get 2% unlimited cash back on all purchases. Other benefits include:
- 10% cash back for the first three months, for new customers only (up to $100 value)
- An additional 30% of the cash back value when redeeming with Rogers (for example, $100 cash back is worth $130 when applying against a Rogers phone purchase or a Rogers bill. This means the 2% cash back earn becomes 2.6% when used to pay for a Rogers product or service)
- Five Roam Like Home days at no cost every year (up to $75 value)
To help customers experience 5G on the TTC with the latest devices, Rogers credit cardholders can take advantage of an Equal Payment Plan to get a new phone without a mobile contract, and finance it over 48-months at 0%. This lowers monthly device payments by as much as 50% when compared to 24-month financing at the full price, helping our customers stretch their budgets a little further. Rogers is proud to be the only wireless provider that offers this blend of affordability and flexibility in device financing options.
