Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa

Rogers has awarded a Ted Rogers Community Grant in support of the Homework Club program in Nepean. The Homework Club is a key component of programming at all eight BGCO locations. Each Homework Club session includes a healthy snack and quiet, focused homework time.

Girls Inc is dedicated to empowering girls and young women to seek the highest quality of life possible. The programs that we offer are designed to help girls develop to the fullest of their capacities in all areas of life.

JUMP Math

JUMP Math reaches 38,500 youth in grades 6-8; and the Ted Rogers Community Grant will help update student and teacher resources. This will help reduce math anxiety, increase math performance and increase pro-social classroom behaviour.

The Parkdale Centre for Innovation is a Canadian non-profit incubator and accelerator committed to supporting entrepreneurs with starting, growing and scaling their businesses with a focus on inclusion and equity. We also provide professional development and career growth opportunities for aspiring professionals, organizations, and corporations.

YMCA Burlington

Rogers has awarded @ymcahbb a Ted Rogers Community Grant to support youth leadership programs in the YMCA “Underground” Youth Centre! The Underground Youth Centre is a free drop-in program for youth between 13 and 19 years of age. It’s a safe place to congregate and join others for social and recreational opportunities. The Underground provides access to computers and links to support services within the community, as needed.

YMCA of Western Ontario

YMAP is a YMCA Integration & Leadership Program – Mapping the Way for Newcomer Youth. YMAP’s main goal is to provide support and enrichment opportunities for newcomer youth to ease the adjustment to Canadian life. YMAP focus on self-governance and opportunities for newcomer youth to establish social and professional networks.
