that it is expanding local calling zone boundaries around the Hamilton region.
This will make local calling easier for both residential Rogers Home Phone
customers and Rogers Home Phone Small Office Home Office customers within the
newly-defined area.
Starting today calls from Rogers Home Phone customers in Hamilton,
Ancaster, Dundas, Galt, and Stoney Creek to anyone residing in the above
exchanges and also in the Binbrook, Freelton, Lynden, Mount Hope, Waterdown,
and Winona exchanges are free - there is no need to dial "1" before the number
and users will not be charged long distance fees for a call within Rogers'
newly-defined local calling zone. Rogers is the first company to expand the
region's local calling area.

Citizens in the area had been asking for the local calling area to be
redefined. Before the expansion, long distance charges were applied to calls
from cities that were mere miles apart.

in Stoney Creek. "Now when I am phoning people in Ancaster and Galt, as I
often do, I will no longer have to call long distance."

calling feature. Customers can also bundle their Rogers Home Phone, Wireless
and Hi-Speed Internet services to receive an additional discount of up to 10%.
