Rogers rolls out next generation wireless network in Atlantic region - Halifax and Moncton now offering broadband wireless data services

TORONTO, April 8 /CNW/ - Rogers today announced the availability of its 3G high-speed wireless network and Rogers Vision services in Moncton and Halifax. With this major expansion, Rogers becomes the fastest and most advanced network from coast to coast. Moreover, following a successful trial announced in late 2007, Moncton and Halifax become the first cities in the Western Hemisphere to commercially offer 7.2 Mbps wireless services, making mobile download speeds the fastest in the country and in the top 5% worldwide.
