Toronto Blue Jays fans turned out in droves to the sold-out Rogers Watch Parties at Rogers Centre this week to watch the Toronto Blue Jays take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series.
Rogers, proud owner of the Blue Jays, hosted the watch parties with tickets for $15 all-in, with net proceeds going to Jays Care Foundation.
Here are the stats from the marathon Game Three (Monday, Oct. 27), electric Game Four (Tuesday, Oct. 28) and historic Game Five (Wednesday, Oct. 29):
- 85,331: total number of fans attended to watch the Sportsnet broadcasts on the ballpark’s videoboard over the three nights
- 115,081: popcorn bags given away courtesy of Rogers
- 5,000: estimated number of people who stayed to the end of Game 3, 18 innings that ended at approximately 2:51 a.m. ET
- 1,000: number of free tickets Rogers gave away to customers through Rogers Beyond the Seat, a national program that delivers premier sports and entertainment experiences to customers
- 157: lucky fans in the crowd who won tickets to Game 6 of the World Series set for Friday, part of Rogers Postseason ticket giveaway of 500 free tickets for fans to take over a section at every Blue Jays Postseason home game
