We sat down with Shazia Khan, Director, IT Residential & Base Management, as part of our monthly series that profiles unique jobs around Rogers.
Tell us about your career journey?
I started as a Senior Business Analyst in 2010. Three years later, I was promoted to Engagement Manager, then Senior Manager. Just this year, I took on my current role. In each of these roles, I gained a new set of skills, including working with others and building leadership skills.
What’s exciting about the work that you do?
My role allows me to be part of both the business and IT teams. I learn the needs of the business and work to find solutions. Each project is different and I’m able to work with various teams across the organization.
What makes the people you work with great?
Rogers employees have a wealth of knowledge and generate ideas that range from simple to complex, strategic responses. I make sure to listen, and because of that I’ve grown every day from others ideas.
