Rogers awards 362 Ted Rogers Scholarships for youth entering first year of post secondary education

This month we are helping another 362 youth to unleash their potential by awarding them with Ted Rogers Scholarships for the 2019-2020 academic year! These students hail from communities across the country and include 150 youth identified by our community partners as well as 212 children and dependents of our own employees. Each of these bright young minds will receive $2,500 as they enter their first year of post-secondary education.

At Rogers, we believe education plays a critical role in strengthening our communities by providing an equal opportunity to aspiring young leaders of tomorrow. Building on the legacy of our founder Ted Rogers, the scholarships support youth who give back to our communities and are designed to help them overcome barriers to accessing post-secondary education. Since the launch of Ted Rogers Scholarships in 2017, nearly 1,000 youth across Canada have been able to pursue their academic dreams through the help of the program.
