Disaster recovery continues for many communities across Atlantic Canada following Hurricane Fiona’s devastating impacts last month, and Rogers continues to support.
Retail locations across the region have opened their doors as warming centres with charging stations to help those still without power to charge their devices.
Last month, Rogers donated $50,000 to the Canadian Red Cross and launched a text-to-donate campaign, with the Government of Canada matching donations up to October 23, 2022.
“During Hurricane Fiona, our stores were open to anyone who needed to charge their device so they could stay connected. Showing up for our local communities is what our teams do best, and I am so proud that our Retail team members are leaning in to support those who continue to be impacted by the storm.”
– Anne Martin-Vachon, SVP Sales and Chief Retail Officer, Rogers Communications
To continue to help communities most impacted, we have made contributions to local organizations supporting relief efforts including Vestiaire St-Joseph food bank in Shediac, the Lighthouse of Cape Breton, the Port Aux Basque Lion’s Club and local bank fund.
