Rogers offers the most in South Asian programming with the addition of GEO TV


    Exclusively available to Rogers Personal TV Customers

    TORONTO, May 11 /CNW/ - Rogers Cable Communications Inc. announced today
the addition of GEO TV to its growing list of South Asian programming. As a
new 24-hour Pakistani channel providing programming in the Urdu language,
Rogers Personal TV customers in Ontario can watch an introductory free preview
until June 8, 2007.
    GEO TV is a general entertainment channel offering a unique mix of
various programming genres that includes the first interactive infotainment
programs in Pakistan, daily serials, soaps, sitcoms, children programs,
religious shows, current affairs, news, variety programs and much more.
    "Rogers is continually striving to provide its customers with the most in
multicultural programming by offering a choice in their preferred language,"

Rogers Cable. "With the addition of GEO TV, Rogers Personal TV customers can
now choose from three channels in the Urdu language, with the other two
channels being ARY Digital and Indus Vision."
    Rogers Personal TV offers its customers the most in multicultural
programming with over 60 channels in more than 20 different languages.
    At the end of the free preview, Rogers Personal TV customers can
subscribe to GEO TV as a stand alone service or by purchasing the Urdu
package, consisting of GEO TV, ARY Digital and Indus Vision with a digital
set-top box.
