First app-only bundle in Canada to bring live TV and streaming together in one plan
Rogers Xfinity today unveiled its new App TV plan, bringing live and on demand TV and streaming services together to deliver our best entertainment experience in more ways.
App TV includes 40+ live and on demand channels, 20 free ad-supported (FAST) channels, and Netflix Standard with ads, all on Rogers Xfinity.

Rogers Xfinity Internet customers can add the App TV plan to their internet package and start accessing an incredible lineup of TV and movies all on the Rogers Xfinity Streaming app, plus favourites from Netflix. Customers have the option to add the Rogers Xfinity Stream Box with award-winning voice remote for an enhanced experience. The Rogers Xfinity Stream Box, powered by Comcast’s EntertainmentOS, seamlessly integrates live TV shows and movies making it easy for customers to find their favourites without having to toggle between apps so they can spend less time searching and more time watching.
App TV includes:
- Netflix: A Netflix Standard with ads subscription is included – customers can also use the value to upgrade to a higher plan. Netflix includes a wide variety of award-winning TV shows, movies, live events, games, and more.
- Live TV and on demand channels: a new live TV streaming service featuring some of Canada’s top speciality channels, including HGTV, Food Network, Magnolia Network, Discovery, Investigation Discovery, Bravo, Citytv, A&E, AMC, Super Channel, and so much more.
- FAST channels: Access to top FAST channels for more movies and TV, including Xumo Free Movies, Unsolved Mysteries, Property Brothers, Forensic Files and other favourites.
