Ted Rogers Community Grants – How Moncton’s Boys & Girls Club is building up Moncton youth through the power of connection

Recently, we’ve been sharing stories from our Ted Rogers Community Grant recipients who are taking action to build a brighter future for youth in their community through development and educational opportunities. One of these organizations is Moncton’s Boys and Girls Club.

As a pillar of the Moncton community for 64 years, the local Boys and Girls Club plays a central role in ensuring their youth receive the support they need to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

For youth and their families, staying connected is an important part of how they receive support, and the pandemic served to highlight this critical need for connection beyond the four walls of their organization. Receiving a Ted Rogers Community Grant meant that the organization could donate desktops and devices to families in need to ensure they kept connected, no matter where they were.
