Toronto’s Alexandra Park opens new multi-sport court with celebrity basketball game presented by Rogers 

Toronto’s Alexandra Park neighbourhood celebrated the grand re-opening of a revitalized multi-sport court last week with a celebrity basketball game presented by Rogers. 

Special guests included John Tavares from the Toronto Maple Leafs, Canada Basketball athletes, and several Sportsnet on-air personalities who participated in the celebrity tournament followed by a skills and drills clinic featuring sports and yoga sessions for local youth.   

The new court is part of a multi-year revitalization project in the community that addresses the need for improved sports facilities and new programs for youth, while fostering an even greater sense of community amongst residents. As presenting sponsor of the event, we are proud to invest in youth programs offered on and off the courts in Alexandra Park.
