Michael Cera Returns in New Rogers Campaign

Features some of the biggest names in sports & entertainment

Showcases the breadth and depth of benefits for Rogers customers

(TORONTO, ON, October 7, 2026) – Rogers, Canada’s communications, sports and entertainment company, has launched the next chapter of its “We Got You” campaign, bringing together an all-star cast from across sports and entertainment to demonstrate the many ways Rogers delivers for its customers.

Canadian actor Michael Cera returns as the enthusiastic and slightly self-important “Rogers Guy.” Through his relationship with Rogers, he’s convinced his connection to the company comes with exclusive perks. There’s just one hitch: the benefits are available to all Rogers customers.

Across six new spots, Cera is joined by sporting icons Joe Carter and Kyle Lowry, hockey stars Gavin McKenna and Sarah Nurse, Toronto Blue Jays Manager John Schneider, and global pop icons the Backstreet Boys. From staying connected wherever you are to getting closer to the biggest moments in sports and entertainment, the campaign brings the “We Got You” brand platform to life.

“The new campaign really brings to life the full breadth and depth across Rogers – from our award-winning connectivity to the best sports and entertainment – and shows customers the benefits only Rogers can offer. This campaign really builds on the tremendous success we saw from the Blue Jays super fan campaign,” said Terrie Tweddle, Chief Brand and Communications Officer, Rogers.

“Michael was such a great superfan in the first campaign, we loved the idea of success going to his head. He starts to believe Rogers is giving him special treatment when that’s not quite what’s happening,” said Vini Dalvi, Chief Creative Officer, Publicis Toronto. “This allowed us to expand beyond baseball and make the campaign feel bigger, while still being built around one very simple idea: the benefits Rogers delivers to its customers.”

Created by Publicis Toronto, in partnership with Rogers, the campaign launched with Nurse and McKenna for puck drop on September 29. The Backstreet Boys spot followed on October 2, alongside Rogers and Live Nation’s announcement of the band’s Toronto residency at Rogers Centre next February. Additional spots are rolling out in the coming weeks.

The campaign will run across broadcast, digital, and social.
