We were the first national carrier in Canada with science-based net-zero GHG emissions targets approved by the globally recognized Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
We are helping Canadian communities prevent, detect, and respond to climate-related disasters using our national 5G network, including by partnering with Vancouver’s SenseNet to power their wildfire detection and prevention technology.
We work with service providers to divert millions of electronic devices and pieces of end-of-life infrastructure and equipment from landfills every year through recycling, refurbishment and resale. We also responsibly decommission and dispose of end-of-life infrastructure and equipment.
We plant 100,000 trees across Canada every year, in partnership with Tree Canada, to support reforestation in areas impacted by wildfires. We create biodiverse spaces through urban beekeeping, pollinator gardens and sustainable landscaping.
Rogers is the first national carrier in Canada to have approved science-based net-zero targets published by the SBTi.
