[On-screen text: What’s your daily screen time?]
It’s anywhere from probably 3 to 4 hours.
Something I always try to be very aware of.
So always trying to work to get it a little bit down.
[On-screen text: Daily screen use for teens: 5.2 hours]
It’s very high.
It’s easy to get carried away with your phone I think, and obviously all that it can do.
And I think the big thing for a lot of parents like myself and probably a lot of a lot of parents that have older kids that are teenagers right now, there’s really no blueprint for it. Right?
It’s developed so fast, so quickly.
We definitely have lots of conversations, my wife and I, on how we think we might want to set boundaries on the use of technology and being each other’s accountability partners is probably the best way.
The balance of obviously how productive and how useful you know your phone can be, but also wanting to enjoy seeing friends and just being kids.
