4,000 Rogers team members, friends and family rolled up their sleeves to help our communities at our Give Together Volunteer Days

Rogers teams gave 20,000 volunteer hours at over 80 community events across the country on June 8 and 9

This past weekend, June 8 and 9, 4,000 Rogers team members, friends and families gave a collective 20,000 hours of their time to help communities thrive from coast-to-coast-to-coast at our annual Give Together Volunteer Days.  Our people from across the country gathered at more than 80 volunteer events to participate in activities that included assembling school supplies for children in need, preparing supplies for children’s youth camps, refurbishing community facilities and cleaning up shorelines to help the environment.

Giving back to our communities is such a vital part of our culture at Rogers. Our volunteer program engages our team members in what matters most to them – namely the causes and organizations where we live, work, and raise our families.

The weekend’s volunteered activities had a profound impact with many community organizations and causes. Some of the highlights included:

  • Helping YMCAs in Moncton, Montreal, Ottawa, Schomberg, and Calgary get their spaces ready for the upcoming camp season so that kids can have a memorable summer
  • Working with Boys and Girls Clubs in Brampton, Toronto, and Ottawa to refurbish their facilities and create gardens for healthy garden-to-table nutritional produce
  • Cleaning up parks and shorelines in Moncton, Brampton, Innisfil, Toronto, Mississauga, and Vancouver with WWF Canada

Through the collective power of our team members, we can make more possible in our communities across the country!
