98.1 CHFI and SONiC 102.9 Relaunch Online - More Content, More Interaction

TORONTO, Jan. 31 /CNW/ – Rogers Media announced today that two of its #1
radio stations have new best-of-breed web services.  98.1 CHFI in
Toronto and SONiC 102.9 in Edmonton have relaunched their websites
giving the stations the ability to publish real time content that can
be easily shared across their listeners’ social networks. The websites
are based on the popular blog style format and are designed to get
listeners quickly and easily to the content that matters the most to
them.

Content highlights include the ability to “Listen Live”, check out the
station’s recent play lists, buy songs, and share what you’re listening
to with friends and followers. The websites also feature robust
multimedia galleries, Twitter and Facebook posts, a proprietary loyalty
club and contest sections.

“CHFI and SONiC are flagship brands for Rogers Media and we are thrilled
to announce their new online services. Our goal is to deliver the best
listener experience across all our websites and mobile applications and
these new services reflect our commitment to this goal,” said Claude
