Applications now open for Ted Rogers Entrance Scholarships, providing support to hundreds of first-year Canadian post-secondary students
Through the Ted Rogers Scholarships, Rogers is proud to deliver corporate Canada’s largest scholarship program, investing millions of dollars to support post-secondary education for youth since the program’s inception in 2017.
Applications are now open for Ted Rogers Entrance Scholarship for students starting their first year of university, college, or trade school this fall. Rogers is awarding hundreds of the one-time $2,000 entrance scholarships to eligible youth across Canada to help them pursue their post-secondary education.
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident age 25 or younger
- Be starting a first degree or diploma program in September 2024 – the program must be a minimum of 2 years in duration for university or college, and one year for trade school
- Have a minimum cumulative average of 70% or equivalent over the last three terms of available marks*
Applications for Ted Rogers Entrance Scholarships are now open. The portal will close on June 12, 2024 or once 800 applications have been received. Preference may be given to students from equity-deserving groups (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour, Persons with Disabilities, Women, 2SLGBTQ+).
The program provides three funding streams to support the varied needs of students. In addition to Ted Rogers Entrance Scholarships, the program annually awards Ted Rogers Legacy Scholarships valued at $25,000 per year (or $100,000 over four years) and Ted Rogers Future Leader Scholarships valued at $6,700 per year (or $26,800 over four years) for students attending one of six partner universities.
