We sat down with Jack Marchewka, Director, IT Field and Tech Support Systems , as part of our monthly series that profiles unique jobs around Rogers.  Tell us about your career journey at Rogers. I joined the team 11 years ago and held five different roles during that time. Throughout my career, my growth has been fueled by the desire to contribute to the company on a larger scale.  What’s exciting about the work you do? I get to work on technology solutions that directly impact our customers. We work on projects that our customers can actually see and touch – like the new IPTV service from Comcast. It’s an honour to contribute to a next gen product that Canadians will love.  Why is it important to embrace change? When you work in IT, it’s impossible not to embrace change. The most successful IT professionals are those that commit to and capitalize on change. We operate in an industry where technology evolves at a breakneck pace. To be successful, we need to anticipate what technology and capabilities we need to be working on today, to proactively support our customers’ wants tomorrow. What makes you proud to work for Rogers?
