Celebrating our pride, together

Last week, we kicked off Pride with our teams with great celebrations at our Toronto and North York offices! As we continue to build an inclusive culture together, we were proud to see our people show their colours and pride.

In our Toronto office event on June 5, we had a variety of performances to celebrate being proud of who we are. Sue Pewean of the Eagle Women Singers of Piikani Nation, AB performed a drumming solo and shared her story of being 2 Spirited with our team, encouraging everyone to take part in a traditional round dance. After, our teams were treated to a special drag performance from Toronto drag queen Sofonda, and our leaders shared their stories of Pride.

Across our offices this summer, our teams will celebrate their pride at our kickoff events, and march in Pride Parades with Fido. Hundreds of our team members will march together in Pride parades in Toronto, Montreal, Victoria, Quebec City, Moncton, Halifax and Calgary!

We were excited to celebrate other great Inclusion & Diversity events happening this summer, including our Rogers Women of Colour panel discussion with Cityline host Tracy Moore, National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration on June 21, and we’ll also host our Caribbean Carnival events in August.

Inclusion and diversity is at the core of who we are, and we’re proud to celebrate our diverse teams this summer. You can learn more about our commitment to inclusion and diversity here.
