Today, chatr launched DAY PASS, a new daily payment option that lets customers get continued access to talk, text and data, when they really need it, for a small fee. DAY PASS, a first of its kind option in Canada, gives customers an affordable and flexible way to stay connected until they’re ready to make their full monthly top-up.
DAY PASS lets customers top up on their terms for just $2 per day for Talk and Text plan customers and $3 per day for Talk, Text and Data plan customers. The daily service plan for Talk, Text and Data customers includes unlimited Canada-wide talk & international text and 250MB of data per day with reduced speeds thereafter. Talk and Text customers will receive Unlimited Canada-wide Talk & International Text. Customers can continue services on a daily basis for a maximum of 30 days.
In advance of its upcoming 10th anniversary this summer, chatr also refreshed its look and prepaid market-differentiating brand promise to put customers first. Its new brand promise is centred around giving customers more control and offering wireless services that are always on the customer’s terms. The brand’s new tagline, “Now, you make the call”, sets the tone for what’s to come as chatr focuses on delivering increased flexibility, affordability, predictability and new ways — such as DAY PASS — to give customers more control of the products and services that keep them connected.
In June, chatr also launched two new credit cards to help customers build or rebuild their credit and help achieve their financial goals.
