Citytv Launches CityNews iPad and iPhone App

TORONTO, March 21 /CNW/ – Citytv announced today the launch of the CityNews app for iPad and iPhone.  The interactive CityNews app will feature the latest in local news, weather, sports and traffic
that matters most to viewers in Toronto and the GTA.  The ad supported CityNews app is available free from the App Store on iPad or iPhone or at www.itunes.ca/appstore/.

“How Torontonians are interacting with local news is evolving,” said
Andrea Gagliardi, General Manager and Director, TV Web, Rogers Digital
Media. “The CityNews app delivers meaningful and interactive access to local news stories
while on the go and as they are developing, including breaking news,
user generated content, videos, sharing and maps.”

CityNews viewers can now get their news Everywhere while on-the-go with this new hyper local news app.  The app will
provide up-to-the-minute news and weather videocasts throughout the
day.  The app allows users to share their own stories and breaking news
in their communities via their mobile device with the CityNews room by uploading videos, photos, news tips and stories.  Other

This is the third app Citytv has launched in less than 12 months, part
