Connecting Canadians: Rogers launches 2020 ESG Report and interactive multimedia Social Impact Report

At Rogers, we believe in connecting Canadians to a world of possibilities. And in March 2020, when the pandemic impacted everything about how we live, work, and support our communities, it was the dedicated efforts of the entire Rogers team that helped pivot our company’s operations to keep that promise to Canadians, when they needed it most.  It has been our purpose for more than six decades.

From setting up mobile Covid-19 testing sites, providing phones for women escaping violence, bridging the digital divide for youth to stay connected to mentors, investing in our networks, bolstering inclusion and diversity, cleaning up the environment, and volunteering thousands of hours in communities – Rogers has been here for Canada throughout the pandemic and beyond.

Today, Rogers released its interactive, multimedia Social Impact Report, showcasing all of the programs, partners, and impactful ways the company helped combat social issues across Canada throughout 2020.  Included are stories on how Rogers responded to those in need, bridged the digital divide, worked to make a more inclusive Canada possible, invested in the next generation of leaders and changemakers, and helped protect the planet for today and tomorrow.

Rogers also released its 2020 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report which demonstrates and tracks the company’s progress against global standards of environmental sustainability, corporate citizenship, and good governance – a key report for Rogers investors and other stakeholders.  ESG is a framework for measuring a company’s efforts to support its people, communities, and the planet.

As an industry leader in ESG, Rogers will continue to partner with communities to support the most vulnerable Canadians, bridging the digital divide and increasing critical connectivity, particularly for our rural, northern and Indigenous communities, to ensure all Canadians can stay connected to what matters most.
