TORONTO, June 18 /CNW/ - Keith Pelley, President of CTV-Rogers Media
Consortium, today appointed Domenic Vannelli to the position of Executive
Producer, French-Language Coverage for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games
and London 2012 Olympic Summer Games. Vannelli will also continue to serve in
his current role as Vice-President, Production at RDS.

Reporting to Rick Chisholm, Executive Vice-President of Broadcasting, and
effective immediately, Vannelli will oversee all French-language production
aspects, including live event and studio, for the 1,100 total hours of
French-language Olympic coverage.

"Dom has the experience, drive and know-how to build and produce the
finest French-language Olympic coverage. He's not afraid to dive right in and
try new techniques, constantly pushing the envelope to grow and enhance the
broadcasts," said Pelley.

Vannelli is the latest addition to the CTV-Rogers Media Consortium,
following an announcement earlier today appointing RDS President and GM Gerry
Frappier as French Chef de Mission.

All French-language coverage of the Games will be produced by RDS, which
currently produces nearly all sports coverage in Quebec. Vannelli, who was
born and raised in Montreal and speaks French, English and Italian, has worked
at RDS since 1990 and was Executive Producer for the network's coverage of the
last four Olympic Games.

The CTV-Rogers Media Consortium will deliver more hours of
French-language television coverage of the Games than ever before with 550
hours for each of Vancouver 2010 and London 2012 Games. Coverage will be
available on TQS, RDS and RIS Info Sports, as well as online at RDS.ca and
