Embracing identity and fostering an inclusive workplace with the help of team members like Clay Wyght

From the moment Clay stepped foot into his local Rogers retail store in Grand Prairie, Alberta, he knew he was in a safe and welcoming environment where he could bring his whole self to work.

As a member of the LGBTQ2S+ community, Clay Wyght, Retail Sales Specialist is a passionate champion for building an inclusive work environment – a value he shared with his hiring manager during his initial interview process.

Identifying as an Indigenous and Two-Spirited individual, it was important for Clay to not only feel supported, but to feel accepted and empowered to embrace his identity, every day.

Four years later, Clay continues to help foster a strong culture of inclusion both in his store and across the organization, inspiring his team members to embrace their own identities and take pride in their differences.

It’s thanks to Clay, and our strong team from coast-to-coast-to-coast, that we continue to make strides in our journey to making an inclusive workplace, possible.
