Fido to bring wireless services to the Maritimes

Fido will open locations in Halifax, Moncton, Fredericton and Saint John
this spring

TORONTO, May 31, 2013 /CNW/ – Fido announced today that the company will
launch in the Maritimes in the coming weeks, offering residents a new
choice for their wireless services. Known for its caring and
customer-friendly approach, Fido will open five kiosk locations in
Halifax, Moncton, Fredericton and Saint John and will be available in
over 50 third-party retailers across the Maritimes on June 14th.

additional choice and greater value when choosing their next wireless
provider.”

Fido has been providing straightforward and affordable wireless services
to Canadians since its launch in 1996.  Fido customers have continued

Fido services will be offered at more than 50 third-party locations at
launch, including locations within Prince Edward Island, at retailers
such as Glentel, the Apple Store, Future Shop, Best Buy, Walmart and
Loblaws Superstores. Further Fido locations will launch this summer
including one Fido kiosk in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and an additional 20
third-party locations.

Every monthly wireless plan from Fido includes unlimited international
text, voicemail, call display, Canada-wide calling, unlimited evening
and weekend calling after 6 pm and there are no activation fees.

Fido customers in the Maritimes will have access to blazing fast speeds
on the LTE network – the world’s fastest wireless network technology.
The Fido LTE network will be available in Halifax, Sydney, and
Kentville, Nova Scotia as well as Moncton and Bathurst, New Brunswick. 
The LTE network continues to grow in the Maritimes region with
expansion to additional cities such as Saint John, Fredericton, and
Miramichi NB, Charlottetown PEI, Truro and New Glasgow NS, expected by
the end of 2013.

Customers can choose from a growing lineup of devices from Fido
