TORONTO (December 14, 2016) Hitting screens for another season of unprecedented access and unforgettable moments, NHL Access: The Outdoor Classics premieres next week on Sportsnet, giving fans an exclusive look into four of the most storied franchises in NHL history.
Airing in Canada on Monday, Dec. 19 at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet NOW, the four-part series goes behind the scenes as the Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings prepare for the 2017 Scotiabank NHL Centennial Classic™ on New Year’s Day and the St. Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks look ahead to the 2017 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic® on January 2.

Produced by 53-time Emmy® award winner Ross Greenburg, each one-hour episode of NHL Access: The Outdoor Classics steps off the ice and into the lives of the Maple Leafs, Red Wings, Blues and Blackhawks as they inch closer to their outdoor showdowns in Toronto and St. Louis.

As Canada’s #1 sports media brand and the home of hockey’s brightest stars, Sportsnet will deliver wall-to-wall coverage of the 2017 Scotiabank NHL Centennial Classic™ on Sunday, Jan. 1 at 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT in Toronto, followed by the 2017 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic® on Monday, Jan. 2 at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT, live from Busch Stadium in St. Louis.
