My name is Noah, and something interesting about me is that I’ve been a skiing instructor, and have coached ski racing. I had a great time doing both and hope to continue in the future!
Where do you volunteer – what’s your favorite thing about what you do?
I volunteer a lot at my local sailing club, Sail Georgian Bay, and my favorite thing about my time there is that I get to share my love for sailing with kids. I also volunteered at the Meaford Boys Club this year and in the past mentored a younger Little Brother along with my Big Brother.
Why was receiving a Ted Rogers Scholarship special?
Receiving a Ted Rogers Scholarship was so special because it personally validated the time I spent in my community, and the importance of the work I’ve been putting in academically. And, of course, it helped immensely towards financing my future education.
Where do you plan on going to school and what will you study?
I plan on going to the University of Toronto, to study math and finance, and possibly computer science.
What are your long-term goals?
My long term goals are to be in a position where I can comfortably give back to my community, and to feel fulfilled by my work.
