At Rogers, we are on a journey to build a more inclusive culture. An essential step in this journey is taking the time to listen to and celebrate the diverse stories and experiences that are being shared.
In 2020, Rogers Sports & Media launched All IN, an action-oriented inclusion and diversity program that over the next five years is giving away a minimum of $10 million in free advertising and creative services to charities and small businesses that support equity-seeking communities.
Tonya Williams is one of these recipients. Perhaps best-known as Olivia Barber Winters on soap opera The Young and the Restless, Tonya has spent countless hours over the last 20 years helping young Black Canadians and diverse Canadians interested in working in the entertainment industry. Reelworld Film Festival and the Reelworld Screen Institute were introduced by Tonya as a way to advocate for and draw attention to the lack of racially diverse talent in mainstream Canadian media, both in front of and behind the camera.
