How one Ted Rogers Scholarship recipient hopes to give back to his community through the power of education

Since 2008, Aiden Bryden has been an active member of his local YMCA organization in Prince George, B.C.

Through the YMCA, Aiden learned the fundamentals of leadership, beginning his time at the organization as a camper and quickly moving his way up to camp councillor.

Today, he hopes to take the skills and passions he developed during his time at YMCA to pursue a specialization in child welfare so that he can support children in his community, and provide them with the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.
