How team members like Rock Berube are delivering 100% pure fibre to communities across New Brunswick

At Rogers, our people are the heartbeat of our organization, whose commitment to connecting with our customers goes beyond interactions in our stores, over the phone and online, or in the field. Whether it’s acting as a local hockey coach or volunteering at the community food bank, our roots are deeply engrained in the communities where we live and work from coast-to-coast.

Earlier this year, we shared that we’re investing close to $200 million to bring 100% pure fibre to homes and businesses across New Brunswick starting in Dieppe, Moncton, Riverview and Shediac, providing more customers with reliable internet and the ultimate entertainment experience. Rock Berube, Senior Manager of Field Operations, is a resident of Shediac, New Brunswick whose team of technicians are helping to bring this next-generation technology to residents and business owners across the province.

See what Rock has to say about why it’s so important for him to be involved in his community, and what it means to him to help bring best-in-class technology to his neighbours:

With these upgrades, New Brunswickers will have access to Ignite Internet powered by 100% pure fibre with download and upload speeds of up to 1.5 Gigabits per second1, creating an even more seamless experience for uploading music or movies, video conferencing or broadcasting live streams, and creating backups or saving large files to the cloud. Customers can also enjoy the ultimate content and streaming experience with Ignite TV and Ignite SmartStream, with our award-winning Voice Remote2, making it easier to get the content you want, the way you want it!
