Jays Care celebrates investment in youth baseball across Quebec

In celebration of the Toronto Blue Jays’ fourth annual weekend series of exhibition games in Montreal, Jays Care Foundation is hitting a home run with local baseball contributions.

Jays Care has invested $150,000 to refurbish “Russell Martin Field” in Chelsea, QC, which aims to increase access to baseball for local youth in the area. The Foundation is also celebrating the weekend with another investment of $111,409 in two Montreal area Boys & Girls Clubs with an opening ceremony and baseball clinic for youth baseball players.

These contributions mean easier access and more resources for kids in the Chelsea and Montreal areas interested in playing baseball.
