Keeping Armagh House connected.

At Rogers, we have the privilege of serving millions of Canadians, each with unique needs and circumstances, who rely on our products and services to stay connected to the people and things that matter most.

This couldn’t be truer for the Armagh House, a women’s shelter in Mississauga that has been providing emergency shelter and support services to women and children fleeing domestic violence. In late March, at the peak of the pandemic, Armagh House had to close their common areas, including their computer room, leaving the families to isolate in their respective units.

Without this digital lifeline, the residents worried their children would fall behind in their online classes, and crisis workers were unsure how they would be able to continue supporting these families without being able to connect with them. Without hesitation, Michael A Johnson, Bari Ali, Don Munroe and Andrew MacGregor from our Service Assurance Team sprung into action to support the Armagh House in being able to continue providing their vital services to this Mississauga community.

Ensuring the most important connections are always made.

One of the ways Rogers is helping to make a better Canada possible.
