Making it easy: Unbundle-ing Ignite internet charges for tax season!

Tax season can be stressful, especially if you work from home.

In the past, if you were an Ignite customer who worked from home and needed to claim a separate internet charge on their taxes, you would have to contact our frontline for help, as Ignite prices are shown on monthly bills as one amount. This process could be difficult for everyone involved.

As a member of our frontline team, Amanda Ginn had helped customers through this process too many times. She saw how confusing it could be for our customers, and also how frustrating it could be for her fellow frontline team members. She knew there had to be a better way – especially with so many more people working from home in 2020 – and so she put the wheels in motion to bring her idea to life. Our team got to work on the idea and created a simple solution just in time for tax season!

How to break down the cost of your internet if you have Ignite:
