TORONTO (January 13, 2020) The most popular New Year’s resolution is to “get healthy” and for the last 10 years, Cityline has been inspiring millions of Canadians across the country on how to do this! Cityline’s motivating health and wellness program gets underway this Wednesday (Jan. 15) on Citytv with Season 10 of its immensely popular Weight Loss Challenge (WLC).

This season, Cityline follows the emotional journey of four Canadian women, chosen from several thousand entries, as they embark on the biggest wellness transformation of their lives. The WLC team will educate and encourage – including helping them unpack their insecurities, building a healthier routine, eating smartly, and making over a space in their home where they can find calm – as they embark on their life-changing path.

Cityline’s WLC Season 10 team features (L to R) Brent Bishop, Jessica Mulroney, Tracy Moore, Dr. Joey Shulman, Karlyn Percil, and Victoria Tonelli. Additional program information and images available at RogersMediaTV.ca

“WLC is an amazing success story, and as the program enters its 10th year we are asking challengers what they want to shed. Whether it is lack of confidence or dwindling energy, our team of experts are here to motivate participants to reclaim it,” said Tracy Moore, host of Cityline.

The WLC Season 10 team includes:

  • Dr. Joey Shulman, Registered Holistic Nutritionist and pioneer of the WLC program
  • Jessica Mulroney, Celebrity Stylist
  • Brent Bishop, Fitness Expert
  • Karlyn Percil, Life Coach
  • Victoria Tonelli, Design Expert

Developed by Dr. Joey Shulman for Cityline, the WLC program has engaged audiences across Canada and beyond. With a social community of more than 16,500 followers, participants have access to a start-up package, including meal plan ideas, grocery lists, and recipes.

“My goal in initiating this challenge years ago was to help as many viewers as possible achieve their best health. We have heard from thousands from coast to coast who have joined our community and are inspired by a new way of eating and living,” said Dr. Joey Shulman.

Cityline broadcasts each weekday at 9 a.m. on Citytv, and is available on Citytv NOW online and through the app.
