/R E P E A T -- Media Advisory - Rogers challenges high school students to collect old wireless devices and turn them into food for Daily Bread Food Bank/

    TORONTO, Feb. 14 /CNW/ -WHAT:     The inaugural Rogers Phones-for-Food High School Challenge
              comes to Toronto. Students from local high schools will rise to
              the challenge of collecting used wireless devices, helping the
              environment and supporting the local food bank. They will also
              be competing for cash towards their graduation ceremonies.

    WHO:      -  Students from Earl Haig, Central Technical, RH King Academy
                 High Schools
              -  The Honourable John Gerretsen, Minister of the Environment,
                 Ontario
              -  Rob Bruce, President, Rogers Wireless Inc.
              -  Katharine Schmidt, Executive Director, Canadian Association
                 of Food Banks
              -  Gail Nyberg, Executive Director, Daily Bread Food Bank

              11:00 a.m. - 12 p.m. (NOON)

    WHY:      One wireless device, depending on its age and condition, can be
              worth up to $5 for the food bank when donated, which is the
              equivalent to a jar of peanut butter, a carton of milk or even
              an entire meal.

         EACH STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE WILL MAKE A SHORT PRESENTATION
               ABOUT THEIR SCHOOL'S PLAN FOR THE CHALLENGE, AND
       THERE WILL BE A PHOTO OPPORTUNITY IN THE DAILY BREAD WAREHOUSE
