MONTREAL, July 31 /CNW Telbec/ - On August 2nd, at the Montréal stop on the Fido Casting Tour, in the heart of the NASCAR action on Crescent Street, Québec race car drivers Alexandre Tagliani and Andrew Ranger will participate in a man/dog match up on fidoduo.ca as part of a campaign to create virtual pairs of the humans and dogs that most resemble each other. After inspecting the course with their respective technical teams on August 2nd, Alexandre Tagliani and Andrew Ranger will take part in the casting call with their canine look-alikes. A photo opportunity is scheduled for 4 p.m. The two drivers will then take part in the only autograph signing and photo session held before the big NASCAR race until 6 p.m. About the Fido Casting Tour Loyal to its custom of bringing dogs and their masters closer together, Fido has launched a vast nation-wide photo matching campaign to create virtual pairs of the humans and dogs that most resemble each other. Of the ten best duos, one candidate will be chosen to appear in a Fido ad. Participants are invited to submit their photo during the Fido Casting Tour. Brown hair, black hair, blond, bald, or bearded, the process is simple and the results are fun! To participate or vote for others, log on to fidoduo.ca. The voting period ends August 30, 2007, at 5 p.m. The chosen applicant will be advised.
