MONTREAL, July 31 /CNW Telbec/ - On August 2nd, at the Montréal stop on
the Fido Casting Tour, in the heart of the NASCAR action on Crescent Street,
Québec race car drivers Alexandre Tagliani and Andrew Ranger will participate
in a man/dog match up on fidoduo.ca as part of a campaign to create virtual
pairs of the humans and dogs that most resemble each other.
After inspecting the course with their respective technical teams on
August 2nd, Alexandre Tagliani and Andrew Ranger will take part in the casting
call with their canine look-alikes. A photo opportunity is scheduled for
4 p.m. The two drivers will then take part in the only autograph signing and
photo session held before the big NASCAR race until 6 p.m.

    About the Fido Casting Tour

Loyal to its custom of bringing dogs and their masters closer together,
Fido has launched a vast nation-wide photo matching campaign to create virtual
pairs of the humans and dogs that most resemble each other. Of the ten best
duos, one candidate will be chosen to appear in a Fido ad.
Participants are invited to submit their photo during the Fido Casting
Tour. Brown hair, black hair, blond, bald, or bearded, the process is simple
and the results are fun! To participate or vote for others, log on to
fidoduo.ca. The voting period ends August 30, 2007, at 5 p.m. The chosen
applicant will be advised.
