Robin Farrell Joins Victoria’s Ocean 98.5 as New Co-Host of Robin & AJ in the Morning, Starting Oct. 16
Victoria, B.C. (September 28, 2017) Victorians will wake up to a new sound beginning Monday, Oct. 16, when popular radio host Robin Farrell joins AJ Cruz each weekday morning on the new Robin & AJ in the Morning on Rogers radio station Ocean 98.5.
“A familiar voice to morning audiences across B.C., Robin’s quick sense of humour and intelligent wit make her the perfect choice to complement AJ, and entertain Ocean listeners alike as they get ready for their day,” said Rob Michaels, Program Director, Ocean 98.5.
With more than 16 years of experience in morning radio, Farrell was most recently at 107.3 KOOL FM, where she hosted KOOL Mornings for the past 11 years. While at the station she won the coveted “Morning Show of the Year” award at Canadian Music Week (2013) along with Brian Bailey. No stranger to the Rogers radio family, Farrell previously worked in Vancouver for 104.9 XFM (now KiSS Radio), JACK 96.9 and NEWS 1130.
“I’m looking forward to continuing my radio career in Victoria and being a part of this vibrant community again. Please tell my family I’m coming home!” said Farrell.
Farrell is also an active member of the Victoria community, where she co-founded and co-chaired the Cycle of Hope Society – a five-year fundraising project to raise awareness and inspire hope in families living with ALS, and has participated in the Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock as a media rider.
