Rogers Communications and AMC Sign Multi-year HD Content Deal

Digital cable customers to access full AMC original series line up
including hits – Mad Men, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead; coming
soon in HD format

AMC original series to be available to Rogers cable customers across
multiple screens

TORONTO and NEW YORK, March 1, 2013 /CNW/ – Rogers Communications,
Canada’s leading diversified communications company, today announced
that it has signed a multi-year agreement with AMC to continue to offer
Rogers digital cable customers new seasons of hit original series
including Breaking Bad, Mad Men and The Walking Dead. In the coming
weeks, customers will be able to view their favourite AMC programs in
HD format – in time for the season finale of The Walking Dead this
month.

customers can continue to enjoy all the premium programing in the AMC
line-up. We’re always focused on delivering the best content across all

March our customers can watch their favourite zombies, meth cooks and
sixties-era ad executives in HD, and on demand across multiple
platforms – something we know our customers want.”

The agreement means customers can view new seasons of AMC original
series across multiple screens including television, Rogers on Demand –
Ch.100 (HD), and on Rogers Anyplace TV On Demand, soon after the
television broadcast. Rogers customers can also look forward to new and
returning original series debuting this year from AMC including “The
Killing,” “Hell on Wheels” and “Low Winter Sun.”

AMC programing is available to Rogers digital cable customers that
subscribe to VIP packages. The HD version of AMC will come with the SD
version. Rogers Anyplace TV is a multi-platform entertainment
experience that delivers live and on demand content including,
primetime shows, film rentals, live sports, news, and kids programming,
to Canadians across computers, smartphones, tablets and Xbox 360 gaming
systems.  Rogers was the first cable company in Canada to offer
web-based entertainment content streaming with RogersAnyplaceTV.com, tied to customers’ cable subscriptions.
