New tower brings wireless coverage to west end of Matane
MONTREAL, August 5, 2026 – Rogers today announced it has expanded its 5G wireless network to Matane‑sur‑Mer in Matane, Quebec, improving safety and access to reliable communications for residents and businesses.

Matane-sur-Mer is a key business hub in Quebec’s Bas-Saint-Laurent region and is home to the Port of Matane and the Matane Industrial Park – major economic contributors to the city, region and province.
Over the past decade, Rogers has invested nearly $40 billion in its networks. This expansion builds on these investments, delivering improved 5G wireless coverage to Matane-sur-Mer’s growing business community, residents, and visitors.
